Tradicional Mexican flavors. They make the tortillas fresh when they take your order. The service is superb and the establishment does a lot to help our community.
Friendly, warm and welcoming staff and service! Glad to have gone. Especially liked the gordita de maíz with rajas and queso. Great flavor, just the right amount of spice and it had a few pieces of big corn in it (hominy?). They have Mexican coke in bottles, which is always nice. A sweet spot for some comfort food in Segundo Barrio.
First time trying this place. Flavors were okay, on the bland side. The spice was ok but not much flavor. Nothing exciting. Wouldn't return. We ordered chile colorado, guisado, picadillo, and all were mostly potato. Guisado quesadilla was ok, again not worth the $3-4ea burrito or gordita full of potato. Nah, no thanks. Yours truly, -pura pinchi papa
This place sells the gorditas for much less than a competitor that is one block away. Great taste and on the spot made gorditas. You won't be left wanting. Plus it's clean inside and has better outside parking options.
My mother and I consistently enjoy visiting this establishment for their delectable gorditas. The accompanying potatoes with green chili are also highly recommended.
Service was great! I’m not a huge Mexican food person so I had no idea what the menu was telling me lol. Thankfully the host was able to explain and give me a couple recommendations. I actually don’t know what I got, but it’s pictured here. It was some sort of burrito to go. The price reflects the size pretty well. It was just okay, nothing too special! I’d still go here again to try something else though!
The gorditas here suck. They serve u nothing in them but potatoes. They have no taste at all. Avoid this place.
Awesome prices, made at the time you order not fast food. Cash and credit accepted. Family friendly. Highly recommended for authentic Mexican food in the middle of downtown. Came back for more, menudo!!!!
